TIM CHAFFEY

Dr. Tim Chaffey is a Speaker and Manager of Content for Attractions Design at Answers in Genesis. He has been with the organization since 2010 and is responsible for writing the exhibits at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. He has also written numerous articles for the AiG website, journal, and magazine. Prior to his current role, Tim served five years in pastoral roles as well as six years teaching high school Bible and science classes.

He earned his MDiv (2008) and ThM from Liberty Theological Seminary (2011) and DMin from Shepherds Theological Seminary (2023). He has authored or coauthored over two dozen books, fiction and nonfiction, most of which have an emphasis on defending the Christian faith.

Tim and his wife Casey will celebrate 30 years of marriage this year. They have two adult children and one precious grandson to spoil. They enjoy hiking and traveling around the country and abroad for more hiking. Inspired by his leukemia battle in 2006, Tim has completed half marathons in eighteen states along with several triathlons.
