AIR TRANSPORTATION

The Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is about 12 miles from the conference venue, The Shepherd's Church.  The airlines serving RDU include Alaska Airlines, Allegiant, Air Canada, American Airlines, Avelo Airlines, Delta, Frontier, Icelandair, JetBlue, Spirit, Southwest, Sun Country Airlines, and United.

 

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

Major rental car companies are located at the airport. Uber and Lyft are also options for ground transportation.

Uber
  • Download the Uber app from your App store on your smartphone and then ping your location. Uber will pick you up.
  • If you are being picked up from the airport, your arrival terminal determines your pickup zone.
  • A one-way fare is estimated to be $20-$25 per Uber from the airport to the conference venue.
Lyft
  • Download the Lyft app from your App store on your smartphone and then ping your location. Lyft will pick you up.
  • If you are being picked up from the airport, your arrival terminal determines your pickup zone.
  • A one-way fare is estimated to be $18-$21 per Lyft from the airport to the conference venue.

 

DRIVING

The Shepherd's Church is located at the intersection of Tryon Road and Walnut Street/Holly Springs Road in Cary, North Carolina. This is convenient to the North and East from Interstates 40 and 440 (the Raleigh Beltline), and to the West and South from US Routes 1 and 64, and NC Route 55.  The address is 6051 Tryon Road, Cary, NC

 

From the South and West – Route 1 
Take Exit 99 (Cary Parkway) and turn right at the end of the exit ramp.
Turn left on Tryon Road, and continue for approximately 1 mile.
The Shepherd's Church is on your right.

 

From the East – Interstate 40 West
Take Exit 295 (Gorman Street) and turn left at the end of the exit ramp.
Continue on Gorman Street for ¼ mile
Turn right on Tryon Road, and continue for 2 ½ miles.
The Shepherd's Church is on your left.

 

From the North – Interstate 40 East
Take Exit 293a to US 1.
Take Exit 101a (Walnut Street) and turn right at the end of the exit ramp.
Proceed south on Walnut Street for 1 ¼ miles.
The Shepherd's Church is on your right.
