MIRIAM LOFQUIST

Miriam Lofquist grew up in a pastor/missionary’s home in Utah. After graduating from Bible college, she served for 10 years alongside her husband, Les, in a small church plant in Utah, then for 7 years at a larger church in Indiana, and later for 20 years as Women’s Coordinator for IFCA International in Michigan.

Miriam has enjoyed many aspects of ministry with women—from coming alongside pastors’ wives in churches of all sizes, to leading a four-day women’s conference for Russian women, speaking in workshops for Rural Home Mission Association conferences, ministering to women in other countries, and serving for four years as Dean of Women at Shepherds Theological Seminary.

Les and Miriam have been married for 49 years and are blessed with five children (and their spouses) and seven grandsons. Miriam currently serves as Administrative Assistant to Stephen Davey in his roles as Senior Pastor and President of STS.
