José Alonso

José Alonso joined The Shepherd’s Church staff in July 2024 as the new Pastor of Spanish Ministries. Born and raised in Colombia, South America, José has spent 26 years as a church planter in seven Latin American countries. He holds degrees from Moody Bible Institute, Baptist Bible College (MA), Baptist Bible Seminary (MDiv), and earned a Doctorate in Expository Preaching from The Master’s Seminary. José and his wife Karina have been married for 26 years and are blessed with two daughters and a grandchild.
