GARY HALLQUIST

Gary Hallquist is an Adjunct Professor of Practical Theology at Shepherds Theological Seminary in Cary, NC, where he has taught since 2018. He recently retired as a counseling pastor on the staff at The Shepherd’s Church in Cary, NC, where he served for almost 15 years. He now resides in Auburn, AL, and counsels at the PEACE Center. He holds a Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Doctor of Worship Studies from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies, two master’s degrees and a bachelor’s. He is married to his high-school sweetheart, Sherrell, and has three children and nine grandchildren.
