Eric J. Bargerhuff, BA, MDiv, PhD, is the Acting President, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Professor of Bible and Theology at Trinity College of Florida. He has served in pastoral ministry, academic leadership, and teaching for over 30 years in Ohio, Illinois, and Florida. He received his PhD in Biblical and Systematic Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois and is the author of five books: Love that Rescues: God's Fatherly Love in the Practice of Church Discipline, The Most Misused Verses in the Bible, The Most Misused Stories in the Bible, Why is THAT in the Bible?, and What's God's Saying Here?: How to Navigate Awkward, Troubling, and Bizarre Passages We Would Rather Skip.
