Dr. Denny Burk has served as a Professor of Biblical Studies at Boyce College since 2008. He earned a B.A. at Louisiana Tech University, a Th.M. at Dallas Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Burk also serves as an Associate Pastor at Kenwood Baptist Church and as President of CBMW (The Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood). He is the director of the Center for Gospel and Culture at Boyce College.
Dr. Burk writes frequently on biblical and theological topics. He is the author of a book on sexual ethics titled What Is the Meaning of Sex? as well as a book on Greek grammar entitled Articular Infinitives in the Greek of the New Testament. He has written articles that have appeared in the Journal for the Study of the New Testament, Tyndale Bulletin, Bulletin for Biblical Research, and the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society.
