DAVID HARRELL
David A. Harrell is currently the senior pastor-teacher of Calvary Bible Church, in Joelton, Tennessee, where he has served since 1994. After attending the Moody Bible Institute, he graduated from Grace College, Grace Theological Seminary, and the Omega Graduate School where he earned the Doctor of Philosophy Degree in the Integration of Religion and Society. He is a former Associate Professor of Biblical Counseling at the Master's University and founder of Shepherd's Fire, Inc., the mass communication arm of his ministry devoted to strengthening and encouraging pastors and church leaders. To this end he has authored twelve books, including, Out of the Depths: An Unforgettable WWII Story of Survival, Courage, and the Sinking of the USS INDIANAPOLIS; Seven Key Principles for Effective Ministry; Why America Hates Biblical Christianity; and Warrior Preachers. David is the presenter of the Shepherd’s Fire Fortified Podcast and trains pastors and church leaders both domestically and abroad through counseling, conferences, international educational tours, and as a visiting seminary professor. He and his wife, Nancy, have three children and seven grandchildren.
